Kerry Blue Puppy 4 Month to 9 Month Comparison

Diana’s Johnny B. Goode…  At 10 months old Johnny attended Sub-Novice Obedience Class and learning to heel, long downs, long sits, come, and finish.  At 10 months Johnny was trained to sit and stand on command, to sleep in crate and will crate up on command, potty trained, and is well behaved on car rides. 

Johnny currently is a great companion dog and resides in Kansas City as companion dog with his owners.

On Wednesday, April 28, 2010 the Sub-Novice Obedience class was short one of the stewards to help with the Heel on Leash Figure 8 Exercise.   Johnny substituted as one of the human stewards.   The exercise involves the handler and dog work as a team healing around two stewards.  Johnny did a great job as a steward proxy.  He stayed in long down and sits as 15 dogs heeled closely around him.   He only broke a sit one time. A remarkable achievment for a 10 month old puppy.  We are extremely proud of Johnny.

The Kerry Blue Terrier was originally bred as an all purpose farm dog.  These foundational elements of breeding have created a Kerry Blue Terrier that is a tremendous athlete, family pet and companion with great temperament.
